Title: FP&A Assistant Manager

Role overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager FP&A to join our Business Finance team. Reporting to the Manager FP&A, the candidate will play a critical role in budgeting, financial modelling, and performance analysis. This role requires a strong financial acumen, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.

The ideal candidate should have up to 3 years of relevant experience in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth industry.

How you will create impact:

Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:

2. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts by collaborating with business stakeholders.

3. Ensure budgets align with strategic objectives and financial constraints.

4. Financial Modelling & Analysis:

5. Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue projections, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making.

6. Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing for business cases.

7. FP&A Tool Management:

8. Develop and maintain the FP&A tools .

9. Variance & Performance Analysis:

10. Perform budget vs actual analysis by scrutinizing the general ledger.

11. Identify key variances, cost drivers, and revenue trends, providing actionable insights.

12. Management Reporting:

13. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with key business metrics.

14. Assist in board presentations, investor decks, and leadership updates.

15. Process & Efficiency Improvement:

16. Identify gaps in financial processes and drive automation or efficiency improvements in reporting.

17. Support in implementing new FP&A tools and dashboards for real-time analytics.

18. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

19. Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Business Heads to drive data-driven decisions.

20. Support ad-hoc analysis for pricing strategies, partner negotiations, and new business initiatives.

Essential qualifications:

• Education: CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or masters degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Experience: Up to 3 years in financial planning, FP&A, business finance, or accounting.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.

• Advanced Excel skills: proficiency in Power BI, SQL, or automation tools is a plus.

• Experience with ERP/financial software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

• Analytical & Communication Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-finance stakeholders.

• Work Ethic & Adaptability:

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• A team player with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.
