Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audio Visual (AV) Sales Manager, located in Ahmedabad.
We are seeking a results-oriented and tech-savvy 
AV Sales Manager

to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. In this high-impact role, you will own the sales cycle from lead generation to project handover, building lasting relationships with key decision-makers and ensuring the successful delivery of complex AV projects.
The AV Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities in the audio-visual and home automation sector, managing relationships with clients, and providing tailored solutions based on their requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing sales proposals, coordinating with technical teams, conducting demonstrations, and addressing client queries with professionalism. Additionally, the role involves meeting sales targets and contributing to the company's overall growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking and market research.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT Managers, Facility Heads, and other corporate decision-makers.
• Conduct technical needs assessments, site surveys, and gather detailed client requirements.
• Collaborate with the technical design and engineering teams to create customized AV solutions and proposals, including Bills of Materials (BOM) and system designs.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, translating technical jargon into clear business value and ROI for clients.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate tender participation and respond to RFPs/RFQs with detailed documentation.
• Oversee the project execution phase in coordination with project management teams, ensuring smooth client handover and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports using our CRM system.
• Stay updated on the latest AV industry trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in AV sales, account management, or technical pre-sales within the AV/UC/Collaboration industry.
• Strong understanding of AV systems, including video conferencing, control systems (e.g., Crestron), audio DSPs, displays, and networked AV.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with experience in account management and business development
• Thorough knowledge of audio-visual systems, smart home automation, and related technologies
• Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
• Project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivering tailored solutions
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools
• Team collaboration skills with a proactive and goal-driven attitude
• Previous experience in the audio-visual or home automation industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) are highly advantageous.
• Experience handling enterprise and government clients.
