Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lab technicians assist chemists in their lab work.
  • Technicians are responsible for testing of all Raw materials to finish Product of all fertilizer and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
  • Maintain Laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.
  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, or reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct tests.
  • Direct, coordinate, or advise personnel in test procedures for analyzing components or physical properties of materials.
  • Conduct quality control tests.
  • Write technical papers or reports or prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests.
  • Support to senior chemist for laboratory research or experiments.
  • Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material: -Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Perform the most complex and difficult laboratory analysis; develop new methods and techniques of analysis.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bsc or Msc in Chemistry,Agriculture or Biotechnology.
