Role Summary

The HR Business Partner (SDM) will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. The role requires strong stakeholder management, leadership coaching, and end-to-end HR lifecycle ownership for assigned business units.

Role Summary

The AVP – HR Business Partner will lead HR strategy for large business units, acting as a trusted advisor to CXOs and leadership teams. The role involves driving organizational transformation, leadership capability building, and long-term people strategy.

Key Responsibilities: SDM

  • Partner with senior business leaders to align HR strategy with business goals
  • Drive workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives
  • Lead performance management cycles, goal setting, and leadership reviews
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, engagement, and retention
  • Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, conflict resolution, and change management
  • Partner with COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation, ER) to deliver HR programs
  • Drive DEI initiatives and organizational culture transformation
  • Manage employee engagement surveys and action planning
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies

Key Responsibilities: AVP

  • Define and execute HR strategy aligned with enterprise and business objectives
  • Act as strategic advisor to CXO and senior leadership teams
  • Lead large-scale workforce planning, succession, and leadership development
  • Drive organizational design, change management, and transformation initiatives
  • Oversee employee relations strategy and risk mitigation
  • Sponsor culture, engagement, DEI, and employer branding initiatives
  • Partner with HR COEs to roll out enterprise-wide HR programs
  • Use HR analytics to provide insights and decision support to leadership
  • Mentor and develop senior HR leaders and HRBP teams

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong HRBP experience in mid to large organizations
  • Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills
  • Deep understanding of performance management, talent planning & ER
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Proven experience as a senior HRBP supporting large or complex businesses
  • Strong exposure to org design, change management, and leadership development
  • Ability to influence CXOs and manage enterprise-level stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills

Education

  • Any Graduate/MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
