Nirmaan Organization is a registered NGO, established by BITS Pilani students in 2005. We focus on education, skill development & entrepreneurship, and social leadership. Over the past 20 years, we have impacted over 4 million beneficiaries with the support of 600+ full-time employees and a 10,000+ strong volunteer network. Working across 24+ states in India, our 40 flagship programs benefit children, women, youth, PwD, LGBTQ+, and farmers from diverse social backgrounds. We partner with over 200 corporate, government, and philanthropic entities.

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Mobilizer located in Bengaluru South. The Mobilizer will be responsible for engaging with local communities to identify needs and mobilize resources, facilitating skill development programs, and promoting education and social leadership initiatives. The role involves coordinating with volunteers, corporate partners, and local stakeholders to execute programs effectively.

Qualifications

• Community engagement and resource mobilization skills
• Experience in coordinating skill development programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of local languages and cultures is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
• Relevant experience in the NGO sector is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field
