We are a Bengaluru-based aerospace startup developing advanced satellite platforms for persistent monitoring and real-time analysis of radio frequency (RF) activities. Our mission supports India's national security and strategic defense operations by enabling autonomous detection and tracking of emitters of interest.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an RF Hardware Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience to design, validate, and integrate RF systems for space applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in link budgets, lab-based RF validation, and receiver architectures, along with strong communication skills. Your work will directly enhance India's strategic surveillance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate advanced RF circuits, including transmitters, receivers, LNAs, power amplifiers, mixers, and antennas.
  • Conduct
    link-budget analyses

and trade studies to guide system design.
- Lead lab-based testing and validation using RF test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Support system-level RF testing, including in
anechoic chambers

and other controlled environments.
- Apply strong foundational understanding of
receiver architectures

and signal chain design.
- Mentor junior engineers, and communicate effectively across technical and leadership teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, RF Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • 5+ years

of industry experience in RF/microwave system design and validation.
- Demonstrated expertise in
link budget modeling

and
receiver topologies

(superheterodyne, direct conversion, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with RF measurement tools: VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Exposure to RF testing in
anechoic environments

.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of leading technical initiatives or teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree specializing in RF/microwave circuits or communication theory.
  • Experience designing linear and non-linear RF circuits (power amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, filters, PLLs).
  • Familiarity with 3D EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, or XFDTD).
  • Professional experience with SDR platforms.
  • Experience managing
    interdisciplinary teams

or coordinating multi-subsystem designs.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
- Familiarity with PCB layout and space-qualified hardware considerations.
- Prior exposure to defense or satellite-related projects.
