Job Description:
 

Role and Responsibilities
- Manage every aspect of our newly expanding operation in India
- Hire and Develop Engineering, Marketing, Technical Support and Administrative staff.
- Recruit the very best talent in this market.
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers needed for Operation.
- Collaborate with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services
- Collaborate with leadership to strategize how best to provide core services to the parent company.
- Coordinate and develop all departments and ensure operational and strategic goals are achieved
- Develop and implement internal systems for logistics, commercial, Financial information flow in cooperation with parent company
- Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development
- Network effectively with local vendors and develop strong professional relationships
- Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
- Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity
- Mentor direct reports, especially to our values and vision
- Hold team accountable.
- Provide engineering guidance to the team
- Contribute to the overall global success of the company

 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

1. Experience starting and growing Engineering / Engineering Service type operation in India
2. Ability to staff up different disciplines like engineering, marketing, software services.
3. Experience negotiating with vendors/suppliers.
4. Strong experience in leading, Managing and holding accountable direct hires. Strong experience mentoring and coaching employees. Having the right people on the bus becomes extremely important.
5. Experience with technical products.



BE/BTech/DME Master's degree, MBA or other relevant field, strongly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
- 15 years- or more experience in Engineering management Also experience in aluminium enamelled wire Most preferable
- Fluent in Hindi and English
- Exceptionally well organized and driven by success
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding negotiating skills
- Analytical thinker with superior problem solving skills
- Solid history of data-driven strategic development
