Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that enhance our IT infrastructure and meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of agile methodologies.

Duties

  • Architect and build backend modules (Auth, MFA, RBAC, Messaging, Shipments, Notifications)
  • Design secure, HIPAA-compliant APIs and PHI data flows
  • Build integrations with PioneerRx, ShipStation, Locate2U, SMS & Scheduling providers
  • Build frontend screens in (Dashboard, Messaging, Forms, Appointments)
  • Implement audit logging, encryption (AES-256/KMS), queues, retries, idempotency
  • Own the data model, system design, and early architecture choices
  • Work closely with PM and Product Manager as a founding engineer
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C#, and Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end development using React Express.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and SVN for code management.
  • Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security best practices (RBAC).
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.

  • Strong backend architecture or Go/Python)
  • PostgreSQL, Redis, queues (SQS/Kafka/RabbitMQ)
  • REST APIs, integrations, async workflows
  • Authentication, RBAC, MFA
  • Encryption, security best practices, audit logs
  • React / frontend experience
  • Experience with complex SaaS or high-security systems

Experience

  • 3 years of full-stack development
  • Proven experience in software development with a focus on web development.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure management and application development.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Understanding of Linux operating systems is a plus.
  • Experience with quantum engineering concepts is beneficial but not required.
