Key Responsibilities
Claims Management
Handle end-to-end processing of insurance claims for EVs (accidents, theft, damages, total loss, etc.).
- Verify claim documents submitted by garages, riders, or clients.
- Coordinate with OEM workshops, surveyors, TPAs, and insurance companies for smooth claim settlement.
Track claim progress and ensure timely closure within agreed SLAs.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure all claims adhere to company policies, insurance terms, and regulatory norms.
- Maintain updated knowledge of IRDAI guidelines, EV insurance policies, and claim processes.
Identify fraudulent or inflated claims and initiate corrective actions.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the single point of contact between internal teams (Operations, Finance and CS) and external insurers.
- Support fleet operators/ clients with claim-related queries.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance partners.
Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate claim logs in internal systems (FleetOS and Ms-Excel).
- Prepare periodic reports on claim ratios, settlement timelines, and financial recoveries.
Provide insights to management for optimizing insurance coverage and reducing claim costs.
36 years of proven experience in motor insurance claims handling, preferably in fleet, leasing, logistics, or automobile sectors.
- Hands-on experience in coordinating with surveyors, insurers, and workshops for claims processing.
- Prior exposure to commercial vehicle insurance; experience with EVs is a strong advantage.
- Track record of successfully managing high-volume claims and minimizing turnaround time.
- Experience in identifying and resolving fraudulent or disputed claims.
- Familiarity with insurance claim management systems or ERP tools.
