  • Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a range of Indian and Tandoor dishes to high standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Food Safety: Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Menu Planning: Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory for the section.
  • Training: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cuisine and Tandoor techniques.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain all department equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff.
