About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sheet metal design, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), and SolidWorks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components and systems while ensuring efficiency, functionality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, primarily in sheet metal.
  • Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and R&D) to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis, tolerance checks, and design validations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and manufacturing processes.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2 – 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in sheet metal components.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and GD&T.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
