Lead - GTB

Purpose/Objective

The Lead GTB will oversee the Ground Transport Operations at Mangalore Airport, ensuring seamless management of parking areas, transport facilities, and related services.

This role is pivotal in executing company policies and strategies to enhance operational efficiency, align with Adani Airports' vision of redefining airport infrastructure, and support the business unit's objectives of delivering best-in-class passenger experiences.

The incumbent will play a critical role in integrating transport operations with the airport's broader infrastructure and logistics framework.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Manage and optimize ground transport operations, including parking area accounting and management, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company policies.
• Implement strategies to enhance passenger experience through seamless ground transport services.
• Collaborate with the Head GTB at Head Office to align asset-level operations with organizational goals.
• Monitor and analyze transport operations data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the integration of ground transport operations with the airport's infrastructure and logistics framework.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Lead initiatives to improve parking management systems and technologies, ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting.
• Support the CSO in executing strategic plans and achieving business objectives at the asset level.
• Train and mentor the ground transport team to uphold operational standards and deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols in all ground transport operations.

Technical Competencies

Digital & Operational Tools,Knowledge of digital tools for vendor management and service optimization.

,Familiarity with ERP systems for operational accounting and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications & Experience - Proven experience of 7–8 years in ground transport operations or related fields within the aviation or infrastructure sector.

- Expertise in parking area management, accounting, and operational optimization.

- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and vendor relationships.

Educational Background - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.

- Preferred: Advanced certifications in logistics or transport management.

Years & Type of Experience - 7–8 years of experience in ground transport operations, preferably within airport infrastructure.

- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale transport systems and parking facilities.

Domain Expertise - In-depth knowledge of ground transport operations and parking management systems.

- Familiarity with airport infrastructure and logistics frameworks.

- Experience in implementing operational strategies to enhance passenger experience.
