Freelance Video Editor

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Freelance Video Editor to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, sharp aesthetic vision, and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into engaging, high-quality visual content that effectively conveys our brand's message and captivates audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, visually compelling videos aligned with project goals.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and creative teams to understand project requirements and feedback.
• Enhance videos using sound design, color grading, motion graphics, and special effects to elevate the storytelling.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Organize and maintain digital assets and video files efficiently.
• Propose creative ideas to improve video content quality and audience engagement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing creative video projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong creative vision and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and incorporate feedback clearly and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently, manage time well, and adapt to changing project needs.
• Basic understanding of video formats, resolutions, and compression techniques.
• Reliable computer system capable of handling video editing workloads.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with audio editing and sound mixing.
• Familiarity with color grading and correction techniques.
• Background in film production, media, or related creative field helpful but not mandatory.
