Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payments.
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

2. Compliance & Reporting

  • Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.

3. Pricing & Business Support

  • Assist in preparing costing, pricing, and quotations in coordination with Sales and Purchase teams.
  • Review and verify cost elements (materials, services) before finalizing quotations.
  • Maintain and update pricing records for accuracy and consistency.

4. Audit & Controls

  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
  • Ensure accuracy and proper internal controls across financial activities.

5. Other Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new software/tools (e.g., Zoho Books).
  • Draft and respond to professional emails related to accounts, vendors, and clients.
  • Use MS Excel effectively for reports, reconciliations, and data analysis.
