Position Overview :

We are seeking a QA Lead with strong expertise in software testing and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies, leading QA teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery of ITSM and networking-related products.

The role requires hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, defect management, and end-to-end test planning.

Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.

Role & Responsibility :

- Lead and mentor the QA team to ensure high-quality product releases.

- Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, test plans, and test cases.

- Perform manual and automation testing of web and enterprise applications.

- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.

- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on product requirements.

- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for ITSM-related products.

- Work closely with development and product teams to understand technical requirements and business use cases.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects in the issue tracking system.

- Collaborate in root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and provide feedback for process improvements.

- Validate networking-related features, ensuring smooth communication between different components of the software.

- Verify compliance with ITIL and ITSM best practices in the product.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and assist in test automation integration within the DevOps process.

- Stay updated with industry trends and new automation tools to improve testing efficiency.

- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Python, or similar frameworks (added advantage).

Skills and Qualifications :

- 7 years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and SNMP.

- Experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, TFS, or similar).

- Understanding of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and their application in software solutions.

- Basic knowledge of APIs, database queries (SQL), and performance testing.

- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with strong collaboration skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

- Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman) (is a plus).

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

- Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and log analysis.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.

- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
