Position Purpose & Overview:
The Senior Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering solutions to problems or opportunities, into production. In addition, responsible for the maintenance and support of those solutions.
Key Expectations:
- Deep domain knowledge within your team, and it expands to the wider ecosystem.
- One should be active contributor on project planning and design discussions.
- Simple solution to complex problems: Writing testable, effective and communicative code.
- Growth mindset: You're curious and passionate about your work and enjoy learning new things.
- Not just a coder: You're interested in the overall business context and creating great user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Determining operational practicality
- Developing quality assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts
- Supporting the product that you and your team builds using a rostered approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Software Development - .NET Core, React, Microservices, Cloud, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Agile, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Agile: Commercial experience in an agile environment
- A degree and a technical background in any of the following would be advantageous: BCA/MCA or B.Tech CS / B.Sc Computer Science
