UI/UX Intern - Social Media App

Role Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Intern to design the visual and interactive experience of
Bharat Voice

, a new Indian social media platform. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs for mobile-first experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the founder & frontend team to design intuitive, modern, and culturally relevant user interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, low/high-fidelity prototypes, and final UI assets.
  • Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for both Android & iOS.
  • Work closely with frontend developers to maintain design consistency.
  • Conduct basic usability testing and gather feedback.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in
    Figma

or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of
mobile-first

and
material design

principles.
- Good sense of typography, color theory, and layout.
- Familiarity with
design systems

and
component libraries

.
- Ability to translate complex features into clean user flows.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience designing for
    social media

or community-driven apps.
- Awareness of accessibility guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of
Flutter

or
React Native
