We are looking for a skilled and responsible Site Engineer to oversee fire extinguisher, hydrant, and fire suppression system installations at client sites in the automobile sector. The role requires strong technical understanding, hands-on supervision skills, and the ability to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

1. Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire Engineering

2. Years of Experience: 1–3 years in on-site installation and commissioning of fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, or suppression systems — preferably in the automobile or industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Job Purpose:

To execute on-site fire protection system installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety norms, and timely project completion as per company and client requirements.

2. Site Execution & Supervision:

  • Supervise and assist in installation of fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, pipelines, and suppression systems as per approved drawings and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, labor teams, and client representatives for smooth site operations.
  • Ensure that all installation activities comply with design, safety, and quality standards. Monitor work progress, manpower deployment, and daily targets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure material and equipment are properly used and maintained.

3. Quality Assurance & Safety:

  • Maintain strict adherence to ISO, BIS, and company quality standards.
  • Conduct site safety checks and ensure compliance with PPE and EHS norms.
  • Report unsafe practices or site hazards immediately to the Project Manager.

4. Site Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain daily site progress reports, attendance logs, and work completion summaries.
  • Ensure correct recording of material consumption, site inventory, and tool usage.
  • Assist in preparing installation and testing checklists, and commissioning documents. Communicate daily site updates and issues to the Project Engineer / Project Manager.

5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover:

  • Support system testing, pressure testing, and commissioning of fire systems.
  • Assist in preparing handover documents and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure that all installed systems are tested and certified as per client and statutory requirements.
