Senior Professional Services Consultant

We have an opportunity for a Senior Professional Services Consultant to join our APJ Professional Services team in Bangalore, reporting to the Director, Professional Services – APJ. In this pivotal, hands-on role, you will act as the subject matter expert (SME), driving customer successful customer adoption and value realization of Infoblox products. You will be directly responsible for the full project lifecycle: scoping, technical solution design, installation services, and implementation of complex Infoblox solutions. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to both customers and partners during project delivery, ensuring quality and alignment with best practices. A key success measure will be achieving billable utilization targets and proactively identifying opportunities to create added value for our customers.      

Be a Contributor - What You'll do

  • Understand customer business requirements and pain-points, and effectively translate them into actionable implementation projects based on industry best practices
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to end customers, offering consultative guidance and expertise to swiftly address and resolve customer technical and business challenges using Infoblox products (NIOS, UniversalDDI, Infoblox Threat Defense)
  • Create project technical documentation and effective correlation rules
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge to assess customer needs, provide tailored recommendation, and assist in the formulation of effective strategies 
  • Perform upgrades/refreshes in customer environments for optimal performance
  • Ensure the successfully completion of projects within the designated time frame and budget, while achieving project goals and maintaining a customer satisfaction score of 95 or higher
  • Guide customers on Infoblox technology during project delivery
  • Coach Infoblox Skilled to Secure partners on best practices for Infoblox implementation
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external teams to drive product adoption
  • Contribute to the professional services knowledge base
  • Travel up to 20% may be required

Be Prepared - What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience working in professional services delivery and consulting, with a strong focus on networking and security networks
  • Strong knowledge in network architecture, security solutions and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) 
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc is a plus
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively present at both internal and external meetings
  • A customer-centric mindset with the initiative to always do what is best for the customers 
  • Capable of operating autonomously, aligning with business goals, and effectively steering technical discussions
  • Demonstrate an engaged and positive attitude with strong prioritization skills in high-pressure environments
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment and the willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done

Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and stakeholders that rely on your work.

Six Months: Work directly with Infoblox customers to implement solutions, progressing significantly through product certifications, and consistently meeting performance metrics for utilization and customer satisfaction. 

One Year: Act as a primary technical resource for Infoblox product implementation and consulting, contribute to the Professional Services knowledge base, and leads full-cycle project execution using the Infoblox Standard Migration Methodology.
