Job Title: Video Editor & Social Media Executive

Job Responsibilities:

Conceptualise, shoot, and edit video content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms

Produce both short-form and long-form videos, reels, and YouTube shorts

Create compelling video thumbnails and visual graphics using Canva, Photoshop, or relevant tools

Collaborate with the marketing/content team to develop ideas and scripts

Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and audience expectations

Optimize videos for platform-specific requirements and trends (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)

Manage and regularly update social media accounts with posts, stories, polls, and engagement activities

Interact with followers, respond to comments, and build the community

Track and analyze social media and video performance analytics to improve results

Stay updated on the latest social media and video trends and apply them creatively

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing for social media (portfolio required)

Strong knowledge of video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.

Experience with graphic design for thumbnails: Photoshop, Canva

Basic camera, lighting, and audio skills for shooting videos

Good creative, storytelling, and communication skills

Knowledge of YouTube & Instagram algorithms, SEO, and analytics

Familiarity with financial/educational video content is a bonus
