Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:

  • To independently manage sales in the assigned area of operation, with a strong focus on liaising with state government officials and engaging with private clients, particularly thermal power plants particularly.
  • The role calls for a dynamic professional who can build relationships, handle government interactions, and close sales independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with government officials, departments, and agencies in the state for orders, approvals, and coordination for continuous business.
  • Build and maintain strong engagement with thermal power plants and other industrial clients in sugar, and cement sectors in the region.
  • Independently Manage the full sales cycle directly from prospecting to order closure.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on receivables and maintain clear communication with the head office.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and state-level forums.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned area of operation to maintain close contact with customers and stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience in working with government bodies and industrial clients.
  • Prior exposure to Power & Sugar industry especially with government customers in Uttar Pradesh will be preferred.
  • Comfortable communicating in both Hindi and English verbal and written.
  • Confident in handling responsibilities independently.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the state.
