Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support overnight batch loads in IICS, ensuring successful completion by morning.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate basic issues in the ETL process to minimize disruptions.
  • Document recurring issues and resolutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Learn and understand the structure and flow of the batch processes.
  • Gradually take on basic development tasks within IICS and related systems.
  • Collaborate with onshore team members for knowledge transfer and escalation support.
  • Support and maintainSSAS tabular cubes, including monitoring processing jobs, validating data accuracy, and troubleshooting cube-related issues.
  • Understand and supportSSIS packagesused to refresh SSAS cubes, including troubleshooting and basic maintenance.

  • Stay informed about our future data architecture plans, including migration to Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran for ingestion, and dbt Cloud for transformations.

  • Informatica IICS: Hands-on experience with Cloud Data Integration, taskflows, mapping tasks, and parameterization.

  • SSAS Tabular Cubes: Experience with processing, validating, and troubleshooting tabular models.
  • SSIS: Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services, especially packages used for SSAS cube refreshes.
  • Job Scheduling Tools: Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Informatica Scheduler (native to IICS)
  • Azure Data Factory (if integrated)
  • SQL: Strong understanding for data validation and issue resolution.
