SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level NodeJS Software Engineer with 9-12

years of experience to design, build, test, and maintain core PrismHR software

applications that power our customer-facing businesses. You will work with internal

product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical

specifications. As part of this high-performing team, you will adhere to established best

practices for code management and technical specifications, perform code and security

reviews, conduct integration testing, and implement existing DevOps procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Create secure, efficient, and logical solution designs for clients.

  • Understand the benefits of various design methodologies and object - oriented

environments.

  • Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.

Coding Standards and Peer Reviews:

  • Communicate and enforce coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and work

collaboratively with others.

  • Perform code and security reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Development:

  • Seek and participate in development opportunities beyond required training.

  • Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work with internal product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and

translate them into technical specifications.

  • Utilize strong team and interpersonal communication skills to foster a collaborative

work environment.

Technical and DevOps Procedures:

  • Implement existing DevOps procedures, ensuring smooth integration and

deployment.

  • Perform integration testing to ensure seamless functionality.

Additional Skills:

Core Competencies:

  • 9-12 years of experience with NodeJS.

  • 9-12 years of experience implementing OIDC and/or SAML authentication and single

sign - on

o Experience working with Azure AD or Azure AD B2C, specifically Azure AD

B2C custom policy development

  • 9-12 years of experience with front-end JS component libraries, such as Angular,

React, or Vue (Angular preferred).

  • 9-12 years of experience in SQL database development, including Microsoft SQL

Server.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of the implementation of REST and other API technologies.

  • Experience with modern front-end web development, including HTML5, CSS3, JS, or

TypeScript.

  • Software methodology experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban,

XP, and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with all Microsoft Azure technologies, including the API gateway, Azure

SQL, and Azure App Services
