Consultant Neurologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, Parkinsons, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, headaches, etc.)
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient neurological consultations.

• Monitor and manage chronic neurological conditions.

• Interpret EEG, NCV, EMG, VEP, SSEP, and other neurophysiological tests.

• Guide and interpret neuroimaging (MRI/CT Brain & Spine) in collaboration with radiologists.

• Participate in acute neurological emergency care (e.g., stroke management, status epilepticus).

• Involvement in stroke code protocols and thrombolysis (if applicable).

• Coordinate with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams.

• Participate in tumor boards and neuro-rehab planning if needed.
• Contribute to hospital audits, quality control, and documentation standards.
• Conduct or participate in clinical research and trials.
