Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedPower BI Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI and data visualization, with a strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and enterprise-level BI solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

Dashboard and Report Development:

l Build visually compelling, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI

l Translate business needs into technical specifications

Data Modeling & ETL:

l Create efficient data models using Power BI Desktop

l Design and manage data transformations using Power Query and Dataflows

DAX & Query Optimization:

l Write and optimize complex DAX expressions

l Ensure performance efficiency in reports and measures

Power BI Service Management:

l Publish reports to Power BI Service, manage workspaces and schedule data refreshes

l Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access

Stakeholder Collaboration:

l Work closely with business users to gather requirements

l Provide insights and recommendations based on analytical findings

Training and Documentation:

l Create user guides and provide training to end-users

l Maintain documentation for data models and process.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Technical Expertise:

o Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query

o Proficiency in SQL and data modeling

o Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts

o Experience with Power BI Service and on-premises gateway configuration

o Familiarity with Azure services(Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory) is a plus

o Understanding of security models and best practices in Power BI
