Jr. Merchandiser

SALARY WILL BE 15 TO 25K

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Management & Coordination

• Assist in receiving and understanding buyer requirements, samples, and order details.
• Prepare order sheets and update details in the system.
• Coordinate with production, sampling, cutting, stitching, and finishing teams for smooth workflow.

2. Sample Development

• Follow up on sample development (proto, fit, PP samples).
• Ensure samples meet specifications related to fabric, trims, measurements, and quality.
• Organize sample approvals from clients.

3. Fabric & Trim Coordination

• Work closely with the purchase team for timely availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packing materials.
• Maintain records of materials required and consumed.

4. Production Follow-up

• Monitor production status and ensure timelines are met.
• Track stitching, printing, embroidery, and finishing activities.
• Resolve day-to-day production issues in coordination with senior merchandisers.

5. Quality & Inspection

• Ensure quality standards are followed as per buyer requirements.
• Conduct inline and final inspections along with the quality team.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain order files, measurement charts, approvals, and communication records.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on sample status, production progress, and dispatch updates.

7. Client Communication

• Assist seniors in handling client emails and approvals.
• Attend client meetings and factory visits when required.

Skills & Requirements:

• 1–3 years of merchandising experience (uniform or garment manufacturing preferred).
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, stitching processes, printing & embroidery.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong coordination abilities.

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
