Job Title: Software Test Engineer – Oracle Functional & Hyperion EPM

Experience: 5–10 years

Location : India - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for Oracle applications (EBS / Cloud) and Hyperion EPM modules (Planning, HFM, FCCS, ARCS, etc.).
  • Validate end-to-end data flow and integrations between Oracle ERP and Hyperion systems.
  • Work closely with business analysts, finance users, and developers to understand business requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
  • Perform system, UAT, and production validation testing for finance and reporting processes.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Zephyr, and follow through to resolution.
  • Validate metadata, business rules, calculation scripts, and report outputs within Hyperion applications.
  • Conduct data reconciliation and validation between source (ERP) and EPM target systems.
  • Contribute to test planning, estimation, and documentation for ongoing and upcoming releases.
  • Support automation initiatives and test optimization for Oracle and Hyperion platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in Oracle functional testing and 2+ years in Hyperion EPM testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP functional areas (Finance, SCM, Procurement, etc.) and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience testing Hyperion EPM modules such as Planning, HFM, FCCS, or ARCS.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for backend data validation.
  • Experience in data reconciliation, test case creation, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to automation testing tools (OATS, Selenium, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Smart View, Essbase, or EPM Automate.
  • Experience in Agile / DevOps environments.
  • Certifications: ISTQB / CSTE / Oracle / Hyperion EPM certifications preferred.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Oracle or Hyperion functional certification is an added advantage.
