About the Role
We are seeking experienced QA Auditors with FQHC expertise to ensure coding accuracy and compliance across multiple specialities. This role involves auditing coders work, identifying gaps, and driving improvements to achieve high first-pass claim acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit coded charts for accuracy and compliance with FQHC billing and coding rules.
- Provide detailed feedback and training to coders to reduce errors and improve outcomes.
- Monitor compliance with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and HRSA regulations.
- Track performance metrics for coders and ensure adherence to productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Partner with RCM, providers, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and reduce denials.
Requirements
- 3+ years of coding/auditing experience with strong FQHC knowledge.
In-depth understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and encounter-based billing. - Prior experience auditing coders in a high-volume FQHC or community health centre setting.
- Certification required: CPC, CPMA (AAPC), CCS, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
