Job Summary:

The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing and managing the billing process for construction and real estate projects. The role ensures timely and accurate billing in accordance with project milestones, contracts, and approved budgets. The engineer works closely with the site execution team, project managers, quantity surveyors, and finance departments to maintain financial control and cash flow for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Client Bills:
  • Prepare running account (RA) bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements as per contract terms.
  • Ensure bills are aligned with work progress, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and drawings.
  • Subcontractor Billing:
  • Review and verify subcontractor bills.
  • Ensure compliance with scope, rate analysis, and work completion.
  • Quantity Estimation & Verification:
  • Verify quantities executed on-site against drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with site engineers for measurement records.
  • Rate Analysis & Cost Control:
  • Conduct rate analysis for new items and variation orders.
  • Monitor project budgets and control excess expenditure.
  • Coordination & Communication:
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments for smooth billing operations.
  • Resolve billing-related queries with documentation and site records.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain records of all billing, measurements, and variations.
  • Prepare MIS reports, cash flow projections, and project billing status updates.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure billing activities adhere to taxation (GST, TDS, etc.) and legal standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in billing within the real estate/construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ, and rate analysis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
