Role Description

This is a full time on-site role for an Obstetrician And Gynaecologist located in Shimoga. The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to women, including pregnancy care, childbirth, and diagnosis and treatment of disorders in the female reproductive system. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, prescribing medications, and conducting various medical procedures. Additional responsibilities may include educating patients on reproductive health and preventive care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology, encompassing pregnancy care, childbirth, and reproductive system disorders
• Ability to conduct patient consultations, perform physical examinations, and prescribe medications
• Proficient in performing medical procedures related to obstetrics and gynaecology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Experience in patient-centric care and preventive health education
• Medical degree and specialized training in obstetrics and gynaecology
• Relevant certifications and licensure required to practice in Shimoga
