Role- Network Engineer- Patching Upgradation

About the Role

You will design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance. You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, STP, VLANs) and broad exposure to firewall / VPN technologies.
  • Hands on experience with firmware / OS upgrades of major network vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Strong change management: ability to plan and risk assess, coordinate maintenance windows, perform rollbacks.
  • Experience with patch deployment, Patch Management, verification, monitoring.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring / logging / alerting tools for observing device health, firmware versions, performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills.
