Job Description:

The Software Quality Assurance ('SQA') Professional will work directly under the supervision and control of the Project Manager and Head of the E-Gov Department and will be solely responsible for ensuring overall process compliance, quality of the deliverables and implementation of required quality process.

Qualifications Required:
• B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech/MCA - in IT/Computers


• Should have at least 3 years of post- qualification experience


• Should be trained on Application development (SDLC lifecycle) and Software Quality Assurance


• Professional certifications like MCP, MCSD, MCSE, MCSE+I, MCDBA, OCDBA, etc. would be preferred.


• Should be proficient in .Net, VB, ASP, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, XML, AJAX, SQL server


• Should have experience with CMM/CMMI processes Responsibilities:


• Shall ensure the quality and reviews of the deliverables.


• Shall develop and maintain the software quality assurance plan/processes


• Shall review implementation and adherence to the required QA plan/processes


• Shall be responsible for implementing process improvement initiatives.


• Shall review the relevant documents (SDD and User Manuals).


• Shall review various project metrics collected by Systems Analysts and teams.


• Shall coordinate with relevant tracks during the preparation and execution of System Testing Specifications.


• Shall coordinate for User Acceptance Testing with the Department.


• Shall be the overall in-charge of the Version Control and Configuration Management.


• Shall keep track of all defects identified during System Testing, UAT and mock testing to ensure closure.


• Shall coordinate with Systems Analyst and team in the resolution of any non- compliances, issues and/or risks identified as a result of software quality activities


• Identify lessons learned that could improve processes for future products
