Job Title: Sales Manager - LAP (Chennai)*
Brief Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Loans Against Property (LAP) division in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and driving revenue growth in the LAP segment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve LAP business targets in the Chennai region
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed goals
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales approaches
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in the LAP or mortgage industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the real estate market and property valuation processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel within the Chennai region as required
