As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Engineering division, you will join a high-impact engineering team where your expertise will promote innovation, career growth, and the development of market-leading technology products. You will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable AI/ML solutions that promote significant business impact, collaborating across disciplines and championing engineering best practices.

Job responsibilities

  • Spearhead the creation of intelligent AI/ML systems using agentic frameworks for autonomous decision-making
  • Engineer and scale machine learning pipelines with Python and state-of-the-art libraries
  • Build and maintain high-throughput RESTful APIs for AI/ML services, prioritizing speed and security
  • Orchestrate AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes for seamless scaling and resource management
  • Establish automated CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end ML lifecycle management in cloud-native environments
  • Guide and mentor engineering talent, fostering excellence in AI/ML development practices
  • Champion firmwide engineering standards and contribute to the broader technical community

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes in technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently
  • Practical cloud-native experience
  • Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
