Organization: The Organisation Harley's Fine Baking ), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200+ people with more than 15+ outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000+ people over the next year.
Designation: Ivory Lounge Manager (Premium Cake & Café Lounge)
Qualification: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field. Advanced certification in Food & Beverage Service, Customer Experience, or Hospitality Management (preferred).
Certifications (Optional but Preferred):
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certification (FSSAI or equivalent)
- Barista Training / Mixology Certification
- Certification in Customer Service / Hospitality Management
Experience: Minimum 3+ years in managing a café, lounge or premium dining outlet with a focus on customer service, staff management, and operations excellence.
Job Profile: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Café Manager / Lounge Manager to lead operations at our premium Ivory Lounge by Harley's Fine Baking. The role involves managing day-to-day café operations, ensuring high service standards, driving sales, supervising staff, and creating an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for premium F&B service and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café and lounge operations, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with company standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to deliver superior customer service.
- Monitor food & beverage quality, hygiene, and presentation to maintain brand standards.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, and resolve service-related issues promptly.
- Drive sales, upselling, and promotions to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage inventory, vendor coordination, and procurement for café and lounge supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and FSSAI regulations.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, cost control analysis, and MIS for management.
- Organize and oversee special events, lounge activities, and premium customer experiences.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in café/lounge/restaurant management.
- Strong knowledge of café menu planning, bakery items, beverages, and service protocols.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
- Financial acumen – budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of F&B compliance, hygiene, and safety standards.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in premium/patisserie café or lounge setup.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and café technology.
- Event management experience (customer engagement, themed events, promotions).
- Marketing & social media exposure for café/lounge promotions.
