Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester (Fresher) to join our QA team. As a fresher tester, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications to ensure they meet the quality standards before they reach the end user.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand project requirements, test objectives, and create test cases accordingly.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs or errors to the development team.
  • Work closely with developers and other team members to resolve issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Learn and use various testing tools and techniques.
  • Ensure the product is delivered with minimal defects and meets user expectations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, etc.
  • Knowledge of writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of any programming language (like Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with any bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus.
