Role Overview

As an
Android Developer
, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of mobile applications on the Android platform. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver robust, user-friendly, and high-performing mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs as required.
  • Work with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs/GraphQL.
  • Debug and resolve application issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay updated with emerging Android technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years
    of hands-on Android development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Java and Kotlin
    .
  • Experience with
    Android SDK, Android Jetpack, and UI frameworks
    .
  • Familiarity with
    MVVM/MVP architecture patterns
    .
  • Knowledge of
    RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
    .
  • Experience with
    Git, version control, and CI/CD tools
    .
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with
    unit testing and automation frameworks
    (JUnit, Espresso).
  • Knowledge of
    Jetpack Compose
    .
  • Familiarity with Google Play Store publishing process.
  • Exposure to
    cloud services
    (Firebase, AWS, GCP).
