Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and work with third-party services.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain and manage database schemas, queries, and migrations.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Follow best practices in version control, documentation, and coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and deep understanding of the Laravel framework.
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like (optional).
  • Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git.
  • Basic understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean) is a plus.
  • Ability to write secure, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Laravel packages like Livewire, Passport, Nova, or Horizon.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing tools (PHPUnit), and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with task runners (e.g., Gulp, Webpack) and package managers (e.g., NPM, Composer).
