Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 6 to 7 years of experience in automating, scaling, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, and end-to-end DevOps lifecycle management, along with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
  • Deploy and manage containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
  • Handle version control and automation using Git, GitLab CI/CD, and related tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of systems.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth deployment and release cycles.
  • Implement event-driven auto-scaling strategies using Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6–7 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis.
  • Strong experience with GitLab pipelines and automation.
  • Knowledge of Ceph or other distributed storage systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes event-driven auto-scaling (e.g., KEDA or custom solutions).
  • Exposure to service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
  • DevOps certifications (AWS DevOps, CKAD, CKA, etc.) are an advantage.
