IT Operations Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers this also includes server assembling, racking of the servers in the data center, configuring networks and hardening and security patching of operating system

  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across IT infrastructure and data center

  • Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and report to the GRC team

  • Identify opportunities for automation to automate tasks using shell scripts or PowerShell

  • Ensure security through access controls, firewalls, DLP and antivirus tools

  • Maintain documentation of network/system configurations and processes

  • Coordinate with other teams for infrastructure needs and improvements

  • Support ISO27001 and third-party audits

  • Demonstrate a strong cybersecurity and compliance mindset

  • Providing guidance and training to end-users or junior engineers

  • Creating technical documentation, SOPs, network diagrams

  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹850, ₹950,000.00 per year
