Q2 is seeking an experienced Technical Development Manager to lead a high-performing software engineering team in the design, development, validation, and delivery of our industry-leading Digital Banking products.
In this role, you will join the Q2 Digital Banking Engineering team, responsible for shaping and delivering innovative technology solutions that empower financial institutions and their communities.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a software development team through the complete agile software development lifecycle — from planning and design to delivery and maintenance.
Partner with Product Management, Design, and Customer Teams to define and implement modern, strategic solutions.
Collaborate with other development managers to prioritize, evaluate, and deliver optimized technical solutions.
Drive project planning, milestone tracking, and transparent progress reporting to leadership.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement through mentoring and metrics-driven feedback.
Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, testing, deployment, and DevOps.
Required Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 10years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience.
Proven technical project management and leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of enterprise software development and architectural design.
Hands-on experience in web development (HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Vue).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python), with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
Experience with automated testing, code quality, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Deep understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and best engineering practices.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in an Agile environment and manage cross-site teams.
