Job Opening: Key Account Manager (KAM)

Location: Sapar, Jamnagar

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead operations and ensure alignment with customer and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementation of all operational and non-operational processes and strategies as per customer and business requirements.
  • Evaluate KPIs as per the contract and monitor overall process performance.
  • Drive strategic improvements and action plans in areas identified for enhancement.
  • Monitor customer complaint resolutions and focus on improving customer satisfaction.
  • Review service levels, processes, and procedures; identify improvement areas and implement action plans.
  • Track direct and indirect costs associated with assigned responsibilities.
  • Lead and manage all employees at the site, ensuring discipline and performance alignment.
  • Handle critical IR issues and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and review individual performance as per KRAs, and support performance improvement plans.
  • Review BA performance monthly and take corrective actions for deficiencies.
  • Supervise production line feed operations based on the customer's production plan.
  • Oversee daily issuance and delivery of materials to the production line.
  • Ensure FIFO and FEFO systems are strictly followed.
  • Drive audit activities for VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, EMS, EnMS, QMS, etc.
  • Promote awareness of customer requirements using a process approach and risk-based thinking.
  • Conduct Management Review Meetings (MRMs) with customers and internal teams.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory and legal requirements at the site.
  • Support leadership development within relevant roles and drive employee engagement to maintain high morale.
  • Ensure that SOPs and Work Instructions are followed by the entire team.
  • Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) achieves its intended results.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Preference for candidates with store experience and a production-based background.
  • Prior experience in the rubber or refinery industry will be a strong advantage.
