We are looking for a Principal DevOps & Platform Reliability Engineer to own the design, automation, and reliability of our cloud platforms. In this role, you will build highly available, scalable infrastructure and enable engineering teams to ship software safely and efficiently. You'll operate at the intersection of cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD, and production reliability, with a strong focus on engineering excellence and operational maturity.
This role is hands-on and strategic—ideal for engineers who enjoy building platforms, not just maintaining them.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Cloud Platform Architecture & Automation
Design and implement resilient, cloud-native infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
Build fully automated infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, and cloud-native tooling.
Establish standards for infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and environment consistency.
CI/CD & Deployment Enablement
Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for services running on cloud and container platforms.
Enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments with minimal downtime.
Partner with application teams to streamline build, release, and deployment workflows.
Reliability, Monitoring & Observability
Design and operate fault-tolerant systems with strong monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Drive proactive improvements through performance testing, capacity planning, and failure analysis.
Improve platform reliability through automation, self-healing systems, and operational best practices.
DevOps Collaboration & Enablement
Work closely with development, security, and IT teams in a true DevOps operating model.
Support production releases and platform upgrades with a focus on stability and risk reduction.
Act as a technical mentor, influencing best practices across teams.
What You Bring
Core Experience
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Operations roles.
Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and cloud networking fundamentals.
Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), and containerized workloads.
Automation & Tooling
Advanced proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar IaC tools.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Comfortable scripting or programming in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
Systems & Platform Knowledge
Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, firewalls).
Experience operating data and messaging systems such as MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud-native service management and deployment frameworks.
Nice to Have
10+ years in infrastructure, platform, or operations engineering.
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
Exposure to advanced observability stacks and SRE practices.
Background in scaling high-traffic, production-grade platforms.
