Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of accounting experience and possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Familiarity with Tally accounting software is required. As a Junior Accountant, you will assist with day-to-day financial operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and support the senior accounting team with relevant tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all entries.

Process and maintain accounting records related to expenses, invoices, and payments.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Assist in the preparation of tax filings and supporting schedules.

Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Assist with internal and external audits.

Maintain and update financial records in accounting software, particularly Tally.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience or relevant internship.

Familiarity with Tally accounting software.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
