About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Automation Test Engineer

with strong hands-on expertise in
Java, Selenium, BDD Frameworks (like Cucumber), and API testing using Rest Assured

. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of automation frameworks, software testing principles, and should be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using
    Java and Selenium WebDriver

.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks such as
BDD (Cucumber, JBehave)

.
- Perform
API testing

using
Rest Assured

, ensuring end-to-end validation of backend services.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Debug, maintain, and improve automation scripts for better stability and coverage.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Ensure test automation best practices are followed across projects.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality delivery.
