Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Soldering Technician at AMMUNIC SYSTEMS in Bengaluru. The Soldering Technician will be responsible for soldering components, assembling electronic devices, inspecting finished products, and ensuring quality control in the manufacturing process.

  • Perform
    hand soldering
    of electronic components (SMT and through-hole) onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards).
  • Read and interpret
    schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
    .
  • Inspect and verify solder joints to ensure
    IPC standards
    and product quality.
  • Use tools such as
    soldering irons, hot air rework stations, microscopes, and tweezers
    .
  • Rework and repair defective assemblies.
  • Perform
    functional testing
    of assemblies as needed.
  • Maintain
    clean and organized workstations
    and handle components per ESD safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in
    electronics manufacturing
    or soldering.
  • Knowledge of
    IPC-A-610
    soldering standards preferred.
  • Ability to handle
    microscopic components
    and fine-pitch soldering.
  • Proficiency in Soldering techniques
  • Knowledge of quality control processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Relevant certification or training in soldering or electronics
