Java Senior

As part of Digital-FS Java team, you are expected to work on various Java, Spring, Hibernate and Cloud projects for our customers across the globe and work collaboratively with other teams and seniors in ensuring smooth technical delivery.

The opportunity

We're looking for Java Manager with expertise in Java technologies to join the Advisory Digital-FS Java team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

Need to work as a team member in the development projects using Java technologiesWorking with the team leads/ other team members to ensure the timely delivery of the projectsContribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environmentWork closely with Project leads, Project Managers, Senior Business Analysts, and other development teamsCompletion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead

Skills and attributes for success

Mandatory:

Experience in Java 8 and above / J2EE, Spring boot, JPA, Spring CloudExperience in Spring, Hibernate, SQL Server/OracleExperience with messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka, MQ)UI experience using AngularJS/Angular, HTML5, JQuery, JSON, JavaScript, Servlet, JSTL, AJAX and CSS will be an added advantageExperience/working knowledge on MicroservicesStrong in SQL or any RDBMS or Open data systems/NoSQL like - Mongo DB etc.,;REST APIs, Spring bootExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous DeploymentKnowledge on object-oriented programmingExperience in projects managed in accordance with AGILE (SCRUM) methodologyKnowledge on writing Unit test cases and carrying out Unit testing using JunitVersion control software exposure Git, SVN, Clear case, PVCSShould have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or any application serverShould have understanding and experience of software development best practices/clean coding practicesAttention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables

Good to have:

Working experience in cloud environments preferably AzureKnowledge on the CMMI frameworkKnowledge on design patterns

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field.8 to 10 years of experienceKnowledge on process methodologies – Agile/frameworks like CMMI

Ideally, you'll also have

Knowledge on any of the emerging technologies
