About the Role

Were looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor with strong experience in short-form content creation and familiarity with AI-driven video tools. The ideal candidate will bring together storytelling, design, and technology to create engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

Reels & Short-Form Editing

  • Edit high-engagement reels, shorts, and social media videos that align with brand tone and storytelling goals.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and trending formats to maximize viewer retention.

Repurposing Content

  • Convert long-form videos (Q&A, product explainers) into short, impactful clips optimized for various platforms.
  • Adapt existing footage for multiple formats, languages, and audiences.

Video Editing & Post-Production Strategy

  • Oversee the end-to-end post-production process, from rough cuts to final output, maintaining consistency and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with content, marketing, and design teams to ensure every video supports campaign objectives.

AI-Powered Ideation & Creation

  • Use AI-based tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora, etc.) for ideation, automation, and accelerated video creation workflows.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI video trends and tools to enhance creative output.

Creativity & Storytelling

  • Strong sense of visual composition, pacing, and transitions.
  • Transform scripts and briefs into visually compelling narratives.
  • Experiment with new formats, effects, and storytelling techniques to stand out on social platforms.

Requirements

  • 24 years of experience in video editing and motion design.
  • Prior experience of editing reels and shorts is a must.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of AI video generation tools (Runway, Pika Labs, Synthesia, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of social media content trends and platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and quality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with tech or consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with content analytics or A/B testing to optimize video performance.
  • Portfolio showcasing short-form social content and creative storytelling.
