Job Summary/Objective:

An Appian Developer with 4 to 12 years of experience, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering intelligent automation solutions using the Appian platform. This role involves leading system architecture, collaborating with onshore/offshore teams, and leveraging Appian certifications (L1, L2, L3) to create scalable BPM solutions while adhering to Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities:

• 5 years of Appian development experience.
• Lead system/enterprise architecture and design.
• Build, test, and deliver intelligent automation solutions.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams using Agile methodologies.
• Design and develop Appian Objects (Records, Reports, Process Models, Integrations, etc.).
• Manage end-to-end Appian BPM implementations.
• Knowledge of Appian Infrastructure (KDB Engines, Scaling) and App Servers (JBOSS, TOMCAT).
• Configure authentication and integrate web services (SOAP, REST) and ESBs (MuleSoft).
• Develop Appian Plugins, Embedded SAIL, and Portals (preferred).
• Apply J2EE design patterns (JSPs, servlets, etc.).
• Work with SAFe Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub).
• Hold Appian "Lead Developer" certification.
• Provide client support and communicate effectively.

Experience:

• 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Appian development.
• Exposure to system/enterprise-level architecture and designing.
• Proven experience in leading the build, test, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration with onshore/offshore teams.
• Hands-on experience with Appian Objects (Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Actions, Expression Rules, etc.).
• Experience with end-to-end Appian BPM implementations.
• Knowledge of Appian Infrastructure Architecture (KDB Engines, Topology, Scaling).
• Experience with app servers (JBOSS, TOMCAT) and web servers (Apache).
• Expertise in authentication configurations and web service integrations (SOAP, REST, MuleSoft).
• Preferred experience in Appian Plugins, Embedded SAIL, and Portals.
• Familiarity with J2EE Design Patterns (JSPs, Servlets, EJBs, JDBC).
• Proficiency with SAFe Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Strong background in client communication and support.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Relevant degree (e.g., B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent) or demonstrated experience in software development.
• Certifications: Appian L1, L2, L3 certifications, with Appian "Lead Developer" certification required.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Appian Objects, BPM architecture, App Servers (JBOSS, TOMCAT), Web Services (SOAP, REST), ESBs (MuleSoft), J2EE Design Patterns, and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities; ability to thrive in an Agile environment.
