Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile (iOS/Android). The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of designing and executing manual test cases, as well as developing automation scripts to support faster and more reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities


• Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to create comprehensive test plans and cases.


• Execute manual testing (functional, regression, UI/UX, exploratory, and compatibility testing).


• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for mobile and web apps using tools such as Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.


• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest-Assured.


• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).


• Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).


• Collaborate with development and product teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.


• Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and provide test reports with quality metrics.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing for mobile applications.


• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.


• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (reactjs, JavaScript).


• Experience with automation frameworks ( Appium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.).


• Strong understanding of mobile app testing (Android/iOS).


• Familiarity with tools: JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Git.


• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner).


• Exposure to cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).


• Basic knowledge of MongoDB for database validation.


• Experience setting up automation test frameworks from scratch.
